Abroad long term stay and settlement:
3 9 and 12 houses are of travels of increasing duration and distance. So the Abroad travels and immigration is seen by following stuff or multiple of following:
(1) Planets in 3 9 12 houses
(2) L9 and L12 Anyonya yoga – huge deal
(3) L3 L9 L12 Swagruhi – huge deal
(4) L3 In 9 or 12
(5) L9 In 3 or 12
(6) L12 In 3 or 12
(7) Nakshatra swami of planets in 3 9 12 in 3 9 12.
L11 in 12th or L12 in 11th is income due to abroad but it could mean exports or consultancy to abroad folks also and not going physically abroad.
The owner of 1st house L1 or Rashi-Swami in 3 9 12 adds to this quite a bit.
P.S. Shani in 4th house takes away from native out of obligation. Not necessarily abroad – like Say Bachchan or even Aurangzeb in his last days…
