It is good to have garden and plants on the rear side of the house, which is auspicious and prosperous, where Budha is the governing planet. West and south are good places for gardens and plants because of saturn and rahu. North west is Moon meant for water. Saturn, Rahu and Moon are friendly to Budha. Hence north said is also benificial, because in north Budha is the causitive planet, and plants are governed by Budha. So in general practice to have plants and garden in front, it is not much auspicious.
The reason why planes and gardens in front of houses are not favourable is because, rahu is main door here there is exaltation of rahu. Where planets are Budha.
Budha and rahu are friends. But when rahu is exalted, i.e.When he is thirsty, then he will not hesitate to swallow because rahu is for swallowing and the planets may be swallowed either by wandering animals or by any passerby who may get attracted by plants and garden.
