8th house is given a bad image as it is RANDHRA BHAVA and it denotes long term disease and obstacles in our life. But did you know that 8th house is a big blessing for a native as it is also the house of inheritance
Let us understand the 8th house in detail:
1)8th house deals with death and longevity,debts,disease,ill fame and loss of friends apart from inheritance also.
For longevity Saturn is the karaka
For destruction of body ketu is the karaka
For destruction of mind Moon is the karaka
For bad debts Mars is the karaka
For Ill fame Rahu is the karaka
For analyzing all house and the lord of the 8th house we have to see from Lagna,Arudha lagna and AK
3rd house is the place where the death is seen and the circumstances of the death is seen in the 3rd from AL.
For timming the death we have to see the lords of the lagna,8th and 10th house and see their placements.
The place or the distance where the death is occuring has to be seen from signs where the 8th lord is placed and this has to be seen from Laagna,AL and AK or Saturn.
The marakas like 2nd and 7th house or its lords are important to determine the maraka dasa.Planets in these houses can also trigger the maraka and also their lords.
Malefics in the 8th house are not good for the native but good for the enemies hence any malefics in the 8th house causes bad death for the native hence during the signs associated with the 8th house during such sign period one is defeated by the enemies and it is 3rd from 6th which is considered as Upachaya for enemy.
The Arudha of the 8th house or the reflection of the 8th house which we called as arudha pada(A8) is also very important to check as it gives the result of the 8th house.Hence if Saturn is associated with A8 native is long lived but disease will trouble him since childhood.
Malefics transiting this mrityupada is bad for the native specially Sun as it is adverse to the Saturn. The sign which is occupied by the 8th lord gives worst result when travelling or residing in that direction associated with the sign.
Rahu aspecting the 8th house from lagna,AL or AK gives bad results while a single benefic will bring down such bad vibes.
There are different methods to time longevity and one of them as said earlier is taking the lord of the lagna,8th and 10th lord and see the lords placement.
If all three are well place and not associating with Saturn long life is indicated
If any two are well placed then middle and if one it is short life.
