Night meditation /Osho

In the night before you go to sleep, do this fifteen-minute meditation. It is a death meditation. Lie down and relax your body. Just feel like dying and that you cannot move your body because you are dead. Just create the feeling that you are disappearing from the body. Do it for ten, fifteen minutes, and you will start feeling it within a week. Meditating that way, fall asleep. Don’t break it. Let the meditation turn into sleep, and if sleep overcomes you, go into it.

In the morning, the moment you feel you are awake — don’t open your eyes — do the life meditation. Feel that you are becoming more wholly alive, that life is coming back and the whole body is full of vitality and energy. Start moving, swaying in the bed with eyes closed. Just feel that life is flowing in you. Feel that the body has a great flowing energy — just the opposite of the death meditation. So do the death meditation in the night before falling asleep and the life meditation just before getting up.

With the life meditation you can take deep breaths. Just feel full of energy… life entering with breathing. Feel full and very happy, alive. Then after fifteen minutes, get up. These two — the life and death meditation — are going to help you tremendously.

Shiva, the ultimate truth

Lord Shiva is the personification of the Absolute, particularly in its dissolution of the universe. He is the embodiment of Super-Death. He is called Yamantaka, ‘The Ender of the Tamer’, He who conquers and exterminates Yama the God of Death, the Tamer. Shiva is MahaKala, Great Time, Eternity, the swallower of Time, swallower of Ages and cycles of ages. Shiva is apparently, thus, two opposite things, archetypal ascetic, and archetypal dancer. On one hand, he is Total Tranquility , inward calm absorbed in itself, absorbed in the void of the Absolute, where all distinctions merge and dissolve, and all tensions are at rest. But on the other hand, he is Total Activity, life’s energy, frantic, aimless, and playful.
The dance of shiva is for the welfare of the world, not individual greatness. The object of the goal is to free the would from the llusions of Maya. He is not the destroyer but He is the regenerator actually.! 🙏🏻✨👁🐍🌙💀📿🕉🌀🍃🎨

Woman is the creator of the universe

“Woman is the creator of the universe, the universe is her form; woman is the foundation of the world, she is the true form of the body. Whatever form she takes, whether the form of a man or a woman, is the superior form. In woman is the form of all things, of all that lives and moves in the world. There is no jewel rarer than woman, no condition superior to that of a woman. There is not, nor has been, nor will be any holy place like unto a woman. There is no prayer to equal a woman. There is not, nor has been, nor will be any yoga to compare with a woman, no mystical formula or asceticism to match a woman. There are not, nor have been, nor will be any riches more valuable than woman.” ~ Saktisangama Tantra 💟

D4 chart (properties and inheritance) /Sanjay rath ji

DIVISIONAL CHART D4 – PROPERTIES AND INHERITANCE

CHATURTHAMSHA D4 – PROPERTY AND INHERITANCE

The fourth divisional chart or Chaturthamsa (D4) is seen for landed assets and property. It operates at the physical level. There are four one-fourth divisions (7◦30’) in every sign. The first quarter of every sign falls in the same sign, the second quarter falls in the next Kendra or fourth from it, the third quarter in the seventh from it and finally the last quarter falls in the tenth house from itself.

Let us examine some principles first. The fourth house and its lord has to be examined for strength in the Rashi chart (D1). It shows the general enjoyment derived from the matters of property. If fourth lord is weak or if there are malefics in the fourth house, it can bring troubles or may result in unfortunate situations with respect to property matters.

The natural Karaka (significator) for properties are Mars and Ketu (built up). The dispositor of fourth Lord in rashi becomes the temporal significator. However, if fourth Lord is exalted in Rashi, then it becomes the ultimate controller and can overrule the natural significator. The conditions of the significators natural and temporal should be examined in detail in the Chaturthamsha (D4).

The significations of various house in D4 are as follows

Further, texts describe the nature of accommodation signified by planets as follows

How many houses?

In determining how many houses, we have to see the dignity of lagna lord in D4 and how many planets are conjunct with the lagna lord and also count the number of Rashi aspects to fourth house paying special attention to the Atma Karaka and the fourth Lord of D4.

If the fourth Lord aspects the fourth house of D4, then one will live in a very nice house always. If the Atma Karaka is placed in the fourth, then one lives in a grand palace. Similarly if the fourth and fifth house of D4 are connected, then also one prefers to live in a large place.

WILL I INHERIT ?

Saturn is the key planet for inheritances. If it is placed in the eighth or aspecting it by rashi aspect, or associated with the eighth Lord in a good house, it assures inheritance. This is both for D4 and D12.

In addition to the rules mentioned above for D4, we must examine Dwadashamsha or D12. The eighth house in D12 is for inheritance from father and third for inheritance from mother. Link between second and eighth will ensure inheritance from father and the third and eighth from Mother. A strong association between the lagna and eighth assures inheritance.

Jupiter and pranayama /The eye of Veda

JUPITER AND PRANAYAMA

It sure is interesting that the planet Jupiter, commonly called “Guru”, is exalted in the sign of Cancer. Guru means “heavy” (read more about this name here). This implies that Jupiter is the planet that is the most heavy with life experience or knowledge. Of all the different yogic practices and paths that are available to take, a competent Guru can discern, one way or the other, what path and practices are best for the particular person in question. Because each person is different, each path will be a little bit different. Just like some people make a better runner than a swimmer, it is the same with spiritual paths. converted PNM file

One of the things that Gurus frequently advise for most serious aspirants are pranayama practices. Pranayama practices are essentially breathing exercises and techniques that are used to expand consciousness and awareness. Everyone knows that states of mind relate to our breathing…but often we leave it at that. The Yogis took it much further and fully explored the relationship between breath, life-force, and awareness. [Fun Fact: The word “Pranayama” itself comes from the Sanskrit “Pran” which means “life-force”. Pran, or Prana, is similar to “Chi”, or “Qi” in Chinese thought, and to “Ka” in Egyptian philosophy. Yama means “restraint” or “suppression”, and many of you may know that Yama is also the name of the God of death. The single letter “a” means “not” in Sanskrit. Now you can fully understand the word Pranayama, as “Life-force Not Restrained”, in other words, “Life-force Expansion”. Does that make sense? ]

Pranayama is, therefore, a practice that slowly infuses the body with tremendous amounts of life force energy, purifying all of the bodies subtle energetic channels and pathways (nadis), in turn leading to more rapid awakening and clarifying of awareness. There is of course much more to it than that, but this should explain the concept sufficiently for now. It really is a great practice. In my opinion, we should learn it from people in person, one on one, and not try to practice it straight from books, which I think are great but should be used more as a reference. (There are different opinions on this, and as I said above, everyone’s path is different. I am not making a blanket rule here.)

So now we are all on the same page about pranayama and why Gurus tend to advise it so often. Now, when we look at the exaltation and debilitation signs for the planets, Jupiter may pop out at us. Notice that Jupiter, the planet of Gurus and wisdom, is exalted (meaning in its strongest possible sign) in the sign of Cancer, the sign of the breath. Cancer is the sign of the rhythm of life, the waxing and waning of the Moon, the inhalation and exhalation of the breath, and the high and low tides that regulate the growth of life on Earth. This clearly shows that the Guru is most “exalted”, or most awakened through the Cancerian environment of the breath. Jupiter is our wisdom, so another way to see this is that our wisdom is most exalted (able to produce fortunate results) through the faculty of breath expansion (aka “ayama”- non-suppression, in other words, expansion).

It should be no wonder now why the Guru so often recommends pranayama, or breath (Cancer) expansion (Jupiter). If you follow me, the very term “breath expansion” is a synonym for a healthy Jupiter in Cancer. This is clear “astro-logic” for why breathing exercises are so important for spiritual awakening. Cancer is a brahmin rashi as well, and a sattvic one at that. Only Pisces and Cancer are both sattvic brahmin signs, which means they are signs most naturally inclined towards spirituality and seeking liberation (moksha). These qualities also show how Cancer is connected to spiritual development. Jupiter will only be in Cancer 1/12th of the time, so most people are not born with this blessing innately. But if we practice pranayama every day, it is like we are exercising the karmic muscle that would make our Jupiter exalted, or at least strengthen it, which is why pranayama is such a great remedial measure as well. When we strengthen Jupiter, we find more grace in life. It is said that a strong Jupiter can remove 100 blemishes from a chart. I do not think this is because of some magical rule, I think it is because a strong Jupiter will use wisdom and knowledge to make life better and to avoid 100 other mistakes that easily happen to a person who is not behaving wisely. And of course, a really strong Jupiter will use Pranayam as well!

Worship of God according to horoscope /Arsh Mishra (from quora)

HOW CAN U FIND OUT WHICH GOD TO WORSHIP , AS PER YOUR HOROSCOPE ?

VERY NICELY EXPLAINED
ARSH MISHRA (From quora)

HOPE IT HELPS

There are two kinds of worship or Bhakti as mentioned in Vedic literature.

Nishkaam Bhakti
Sakaam Bhakti
Any form of worship done to achieve a desire or fulfill a longing is known as Sakaam Bhakti or worship done to appease your mind. On the other hand, any form of worship done without a desire, without longing, without wanting anything in return.

There is a very interesting story in Shiv Mahapuran about tthe two kinds of bhakti. Once Parvati asks Shiv as to why he, Vishnu and Brahma go around giving boons to everyone who prays to them when Nandi, Narada, etc. who are their most loyal servants dont get anything in return.

To this, Shiv says that there are two kinds of worship. Nishkaam bhakti which is done without any desire and does not seek any reward is the first and the greatest kind of devotion. The person chooses his/her own deity and own method of worship. Sakaam bhakti is the second kind of devotion, done in order to get some desired wish or blessing. The deity is chosen based on the kind of result one is looking for and the method of worship is one that can quickly get results. Then Shiv went on to say that there is a fundamental difference between the two. The one practicing Sakaam Bhakti is blessed by Shiva’s boon or Vishnu’s boon. But the one practicing Nishkaam bhakti attains to Shiv or Vishnu themselves and hence no longing or desire remains. Sakaam Bhakti is for those who seek materialistic growth. Nishkaam bhakti is for those who seek spiritual advancement.

As far as Nishkaam bhakti is concerned, each person has their own inclination and chooses their own method of worship. As for Sakaam bhakti, the following is an extract from one of the articles my father once wrote.

For remedies, Nepali astrologers rely on Hindu, Buddhists and Tantric Gods and Goddesses. But they have some speciality. If in the birth chart any planet is weak or evil, one has to appease that house’s ruler God where the planet is posited.
In Vimshotri dasa system House rulers are as follows:

First house ruler : Shiva
Second house ruler: Kuber
Third house ruler: Kumar

Fourth house ruler: Brahma
Fifth house ruler: Saraswati
Sixth house ruler: Varun
Seventh house ruler: Parvati
Eighth house ruler: Yam
Ninth house ruler: Laxmi
Tenth house ruler: Visnu
Eleventh house ruler: Ganesh
Twelfth house ruler: Agni

Worshiping the house ruler deity whose dasa is operating and causing ill effect minimizes the evil caused to that house.

But in Yogini dasa system House god is different. In Yogini dasa, the Dasham-Mahavidya Adhipati are worshiped.

The house rulers as per Yogini dasa are as follows:
First House ruler: Shiva
Second House ruler: Kamala
Third House ruler: Tara
Fourth House rule: Brahmayani
Fifth house ruler: Dhumawati
Sixth house ruler: Bagalamukhi
Seventh house: Pravati
Eighth house ruler: Kali
Ninth House ruler: Matangi
Tenth House ruler: Swadhashi
Eleventh House ruler: Chhinmasta
Twelfth House: Bhairavi

For example, if Yogani dasa ruler is third house lord or positioned in third house and is not giving good result, one has to worship Tara.

Please note that in both house ruler God [ in vimshotri or yogini] 1st house is ruled by Shiva and seventh by Parvati —- it is the Shiva-Shiv that sustains the generations or cause of creation.

Beautiful mind and planets

Firstly we should know what is beautiful mind?
What is beauty or beautiful? Am I beautiful!!

Yes we all are beautiful when our inner self is pleased and satisfied. But most of the time in we talk about beauty is the terms of the physical “that which meets the eye”. In reality most of us “feel” most beautiful, is when we’re confident, when we’re happy, when we’re doing something that is kind and compassionate and loving; something that doesn’t necessarily have to do with our appearance.
Without SATYAM and SHIVAM there is no SUNDARAM (Beauty). Beauty is a part of the good, truth and divine.
There is only one definition of beauty and that is Shiva, the inner self of all beings. Sundaram means beauty. Satyam means the truth; Shivam means the good, the divine; and Sundram means the beauty. It is the supernatural trinity called “Shiva”
Ishwar satya hai
God is truth
Satya hi Shiv hai
Thruth is Shiv
Shiv hi sundar hai
Only Shiv is beautiful
Satyam Shivam Sundaram
If we see it astrological perspectives then sun is the main planet of beauty. Sun is soul . If Sun is afflicted by any malefic planets then beauty of soul is vanished. Moon is another planet which represent our mind. Lord Shiva wore the moon Crescent on His head . When sun and moon aspects each other(some ego problem may arise) and conjoints each other without any malific ( rahu and saturn) aspect then one can achieve beautiful mind.
If Jupiter aspect on moon in 1st, 5th and 9th,house , moon in Jupiter star or posited in friendly sign of Jupiter and Venus, no malific aspects on Jupiter Venus conjunction with moon then, moon in good paksha bal then we can say the native has beautiful mind.
In so many sadhaks has moon Neptune combination or moon ketu combination..These are also indicates beautiful mind but it indicates higher spiritual mind not materialistic .
In my opinion main planet r sun, moon Jupiter and Venus..
Thanks

Jupiter and sweet sixteen /The eye of Veda

JUPITER AND THE SWEET SIXTEEN .

Each planet has a different maturation age, and when this age comes about, the person is able to use that planet to a more effective level, if such a promise is shown in the birth chart to begin with. If not, then the person may start to experience more problems associated with the planet as it is not maturing properly. The person is not as developed in the area of consciousness associated with said planet, and it shows.

The maturation ages are as follows:

Jupiter : 16 Jupiter
Sun : 21
Moon : 24
Venus : 25
Mars : 28
Mercury : 32
Saturn : 36
Rahu : 42
Ketu : 48
As can be seen above, Jupiter is the first planet to mature, and it matures at the age of 16. Jupiter represents a great many things in a horoscope, including wisdom or philosophy, guiding principles and the ability to appreciate the wholeness of life. His placement in a chart can also give great understanding of what makes you happy, and what your “dharma”, or purpose in life is. If you are a Woman, or someone who likes Men, then Jupiter actually plays a slightly different role in the chart as compared to a Male, or someone who likes women mostly. This has to do with Jupiter being the producer, or “karaka” of the husband in a Womans chart. He is also the significator of children in the horoscope, for both males and females. So for the average female, the planet Jupiter “produces” (in the astrological sense) and is responsible for, her children, and her husband in life. Those are very important parts of life for most people. And when Jupiter matures at 16, all these things under Jupiter’s domain begin to mature and become prominent in a person’s life as well. Also, Jupiter rules our creativity in general, and children are the most important creative process for most humans, and at this age a woman is physically mature enough to take on this creative process. Also, the hormones and endocrine system is ruled by Jupiter, and this matures around the age of 16 as well.
This is what is so interesting about the tradition of the Sweet Sixteen, and how it is only significant for a lady. Before the age of 16, the average girl’s physical body, hormones and consciousness are not cultivated enough to maturely know what is in her own heart, and what type of Husband (if any) she should choose. The same goes for children. She may not want to have kids, or not really think about it until after the age of 16. After that point, if it is in her Dharma to have kids in this life, she may begin to have more of her own thoughts and feelings about the matter. This is because she is now physically mature enough for this process, but not necessarily mature enough on all levels.

For a girl that has a strong Jupiter in her chart, this means that in past lives she lived dharmically enough to gain the “good karma” (good merit) to have a happy and fortunate married life with pleasing children. In most cultures this is the general ideal thing to have for most women, (as well as with men, but with a happy wife as opposed to husband) although everyone is different. This has long been one of the best uses of Jyotish, to determine if one should pursue marriage in this life or if they should save themselves a lot of time and energy and focus on something else they care about. At the age of 16, Jupiter matures, which means that (for either sex) the individual’s consciousness of their “dharma” has matured, leaving them to pursue their own unique purpose in the world. If this purpose involves marriage or having kids, then the time is ripe at 16 to pave the way for those events to occur when they are meant to. Because marriage and children are such important factors in life, it makes sense that families at some point decided to have a big celebration to commemorate this.

Regardless of their sex, at 16 the person is going to begin to think more about their purpose, and more about what they want to do with their own life. At 16 a person may think more about what is really right and wrong, versus what they have been told to think by others. They may think more about what they themselves believe to be true from their experience. They may develop a belief system of their own naturally or start to follow a belief system. This is because Jupiter rules ones belief systems, and wisdom, and ones understanding of the big picture in life. And how this plays out depends on the way Jupiter is situated in the horoscope.
For men, it is different, because Venus rules the wife or mate in a chart of someone who likes females, and as you can see above, Venus does not mature until the age of 25. This means that for men, they may not be fully mature enough in their consciousness to choose the right marriage partner or commit to their chosen path in life until the age of 25. Venus is the consciousness that helps us love ourselves and seek the best quality of life for ourselves, therefore representing our decision making capacity. The strong Venusian weighs out the choices they are given in life wisely (like Venus’s sign Libra, the balancing scales, “weighing ones options”. Libras tend to get the best deals and be good traders and businessmen) and thus his life leads to greater satisfaction and well being because of the good choices they made to get there. A person with a weaker Venus will typically not inherently appreciate themselves as much, and will make decisions that reflect that, and choose bad partners and bad relationships, therefore inviting difficulty and hardship into their lives as a result.

Boys typically do not mature sexually as fast as women, and who knows, perhaps that has to do with males not being truly ripe for marriage until the age of 25, as opposed to girls at 16, according to this line of thinking. Also, it is usually considered more normal for a woman to marry an older man, than it is for a man to marry an older woman. This makes sense when we see that a woman is mature enough (or close to it) for a spouse at the age of 16, compared with a man not being that mature until almost ten years later at 25!

It can be nice to reflect back and see how ones own beliefs or philosophies (as well as other jupiter-ruled things) may have developed during that very formative time.
