Most of them have completed many courses and have good knowledge of astrology. Still, when it comes to actual horoscope reading, many astrologers use only a few techniques from their entire store of knowledge. This usually happens because we know many techniques but often forget which technique should be applied to which horoscope.Today, one very basic and practical step is being shared, which can be used in almost every consultation.Suppose a client comes for consultation at 12:00 hours. The client may have many problems in life, but the astrologer’s real task is to identify the most important or burning issue at that moment. For this, a “first glance” chart is used. The first glance is nothing but the Prashna chart cast at the exact time the client approaches for consultation.Now follow these steps.Step 1: Check the sign rising in the first house of the Prashna chart (Ascendant Lagna).Step 2: See in which house the same sign is placed in the natal horoscope of the client.That house will show the major area of concern for which the client has come.For example, a client came asking about financial improvement. When the first glance chart was cast, Cancer sign was rising in the Ascendant. In the natal horoscope, Cancer was placed in the fourth house, and its lord Moon was sitting in the seventh house. It was indicated that the problem was related to property and involvement of a partner.Later, it was confirmed that the native’s wife had thrown him out of the house and was not ready to return the property. A divorce case was also going on, in which a major part of his income was being spent. Although the native earned well monthly, these issues were draining his finances.This is a simple but effective technique. Use it regularly, refine it with experience, and also try applying it along with the Navamsa (D9) for deeper understanding.Enjoy learning astrology.
